Dinosaur Discovery 1.5

The Dinosaur Discovery app serves as an interactive companion to the prominent exhibition titled "Dinosaur Discovery: Lost Creatures of the Cretaceous," currently displayed at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre in Western Australia beginning September 20, 2017.

The application offers distinctive 3D content that visitors can access by locating and scanning frame markers positioned throughout the exhibition space, on merchandise, and across various promotional materials including posters, flyers, bus stops, newspapers, and magazines.

Users have the ability to capture photographs with the digital dinosaurs, either standing alongside them or holding them in their hands. These images can be saved directly to their device's camera roll and shared via social networks through the app interface.

The 3D dinosaur models provided within the app are anatomically accurate depictions based on the most recent paleontological findings. The species included are:

• Minmi
• Muttaburrasaurus
• Therizinosaurus
• Spinosaurus
• Carcharodontosaurus
• Styracosaurus
• Amargasaurus
• Protoceratops
• Velociraptor
• Tyrannosaurus rex

For individuals unable to visit the exhibition in person, sample markers are available for download and printing via the Dinosaur Discovery support page hosted on the Western Australian Museum’s website.
